And boom! Peter is the Q!

Truly the everest but regardless I still have more mountains to climb.... Getting the Q certificate is one thing but having to pass the Q course in one attempt was very validating to me, which put me on the rank of the 30% of the students that made it on first attempt world wide. It is said that only about 30% of trainees pass this certification without taking retakes.
Officially as at 26th April 2023 I'm the only and the first Nigerian to become a
Q grader, You can say I'm a proud Nigerian.
Thank you.

It was a crazy fun 6 days of training and tests, locked up in Archer warehouse/facility in Sharja with amazing people (co student's, instructor and Archer education team)
As always I took everything very seriously and focus on why I am here, why I had to leave my family in the capital and be in another emirate for 6 days.
How prepared was I was the Q, honestly wasn't in any form getting prepared for it, few friends were like you have to do some training, like acids practice blablabla, before going for the QG, I believe the best training is the collections of focus, and detailed attentions of the years of experience.

First thing first, you need to ask yourself why you wanna be a QAG, do you really need the certification for work purpose or you just want it because it sound cool or fascination, trust me it's not for everyone.
Even with so many wanting it, it's not for everyone, you have to have a use for it then go for it. For me the knowledge from the course was more important than the certificate itself, why because I'm a roaster which doesn't mean I need it but as someone in charge of green beans procurement, it very important for
my line of work,
And we have a project at Laura coffee related to coffee farming, which make more sense on why it's very important to have the Q.
Spoiler alert!

Batch #5442 was amazing! everyone in the group are unique, talant, fun to be with, and very determined people. We had a 4 Q's out of 8 participant which is fantastic. I believe the remaining guys should make it in the retake 100%.
I had the privilege to have an amazing Q instructor and A-AST trainer Mr. Alin Giriada from the Coffee Laboratory Ireland. He's a great teacher. Thank you Alin.

It's all about Improving Quality and Changing Lives. Congratulations to all the Q
from batch #5442. It seems impossible but we did it! Maybe some few tips but not actually tips but suggestion, don't be carried away by social media post or story especially if you are taking classes at Archers, I knew that so I came prepared. Social media is a great platform but know where to draw the line.
Archers are actually doing a great job regarding that, capturing every moment of the sessions, that you can not control which is fine because at the end of the day it's good publicity, and what I was able to control was me not sharing anything on my page/social media till after I did pass the course. Which I believe make more sense, why make noise on social media and have to have more pressure coming in from every angle with the world expecting much from you. However this is subjective, still a suggestion.
So my advise will be focus on the what is more important than showing off on social media. What are more important are you taking detail notes of the class and training, ask questions, pay attention, trust your gut, be yourself.

May you be the Q!
I'll keep the remaining suggestion to myself for consultation purpose, why not right?
Thank you team Archers, amazing host and special thank for the Archers Education Team, you guys are exceptionally amazing.
