Abu Dhabi Latte Art 1st Place Runner Up 2022

I must say the year 2022 has being a remarkable year, can't deny the challenges, the ups and downs. Every battles or competitions was fun and a room for growth... Well I enjoyed the process, the spirit of keep fighting, keep try to prove to myself, that nothing is impossible.

It's really a beautiful and amazing coffee community in the united Arab Emirate UAE. So many coffee completions (Nationals & Throwdowns) was held in the year 2022 from latte art, to brewing, to cup tasters, to roasting and more... I must give myself credit for always showing up for competitions for which I was selected ( so many registered competitor, you must be lucky to be selected first)

It was the 1st latte art throwdown in the Capital (Abu Dhabi) for the year 2022

09-09-2022, with over 75 competitor's, all amazing barista and artist, Hosted and organized by Spresso Xpression and other sponsors. Found myself lucky to made it to the final and get to be the 2nd place champion. Which make me the 1st African to ever won a Latte Art Competition in the UAE.

The energy from my Wakanda team was on another level, as I got so many people rooting for me and chanting WANKANDA on each and every round, much love and thanks to everyone, most are not in the image above, in the picture are current or ex SHOT staffs only.... Wankada Forever.

Everyone round for the throwdown for me was like well let me just do what I can, I really don't feel much pressured which was wired this time, and funny enough from start till last round I was either paired with brothers or very close friends in the community or champions (Lodii's) that I look up to. All very good barista and artist. What will be will be but the competition week for me was also a lot of practice
